There are many useful training programs for migrant workers and married migrants in our center such as Korean lessons by levels to help them adjusting in living in Korea, computer lessons to teach how to use computers, lessons on labor laws for them to protect their rights, leadership training for those who want to take part in community activities, re-integration program to prepare for going home. And also there are special programs. All educational programs are wide open

Korean Lesson

Through this Korean lessons, migrants will be adjusted more easily to Korean life and responding potential problems occurring at workplaces by improving communication skills. Furthermore we want them to be active participants in our society by expressing their ideas enough and getting necessary information. The lessons are divided by levels and there are lessons for preparing for the Korean Proficiency Test.

 

Computer Lesson

It is for improving computer skills necessary for daily life. By learning Internet, they will be able to communicate with their families in their home towns and fill the gaps of informational discrepancy. You are going to learn how to write a document, make a presentation and use a computer and Internet as well as prepare for the computational certificate, which are helpful in working also after returning home.

 

Labor Laws Lesson

It is for improving their convictions of the rights and preventing from being violated of their rights. You are going to know clearly of essential information on unfair treatments, the answers to the questions you’ve got and so on. Labor counseling specialists and Certified labor lawyers will give you lectures on wage, industrial accident, labor contracts, relief procedures, The Labor Standard Laws, The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Law and Employment Permit System.

 

Leadership Training

It aims to raise leaders from the communities of each countries by giving some opportunities to educate themselves. We prepared lessons on the Korean Society, basic laws, human rights sensitivity as well as leadership training which helps in organizing or energizing a community.

 

re-integration program

Returning home preparation program for migrant workers. It plans to be started from 2013.

Communities being supported.
SAPINACO is a community of Philippine workers from Batangas, Philippine. 8th anniversary in September, 2012. The main activities are usually for the mutual close relationships with each other. Especially, they provided daily necessities and donations when there was a big storm in Philippine. Currently they have a sponsoring program to provide stationeries for the elementary students
