Behavior guidelines during heavy rain

1. Avoid dangerous areas such as areas frequently flooded with water or areas at risk of landslides, and evacuate to a safe place.
2. Close doors and windows indoors, do not go outside, and check the weather conditions through TV, radio, and the Internet.
3. Do not go near areas at risk of flooding such as streams, riversides, and coasts, as you may be swept away by rapid currents.
4. Hikers in mountains and valleys should not go near valleys or slopes, and evacuate to a safe place.
5. Do not go near construction sites as construction materials may fall.
6. In rural areas, do not go out to inspect rice paddy embankments or water gates.
7. Do not approach the river area when the water level of the river rises due to heavy rain or typhoons.

9. Areas near glass windows and building signs may be damaged by falling objects due to strong winds, so take shelter in open spaces or inside buildings if possible.
